Choosing Perfect Pictures for Photo Art

Photo art is an excellent way for you to proudly display your favorite memories. However, keep in mind that some images work better as canvas graphics than others. For starters, you will want to choose a photograph that is in good shape and that does not have significant flaws, like poor lighting or being overexposed. The photograph should be clear and bright and should focus specifically on the person, place, or object you wish to have on display. Photographs with “busy backgrounds” or too many things going on may put the emphasis in the wrong place.

However, for best results, your photograph should have a minimum pixel dimension of 1200 by 1200. When your photograph falls within these dimensions, it should generally have a file size of about 1MB or larger. The one exception is that a 900KB file size is sufficient for an 11 by 14 photograph. Also, you will find that, in order to upload your photo onto the site, it must be no larger than 20M. This does not mean that larger pictures are not acceptable! If your image is larger but still meets quality requirements, then you can email it to the service and still have your canvas created.
