If you’re planning to use Camera2CanvasArt to create a custom picture on a canvas, then you should know that some pictures are better choices than others. While you can, of course, choose any kind of photo that you like for your canvas, you are much more likely to be satisfied with the results if you keep a few simple things in mind. Firstly, make sure you choose a picture that is clear and in focus. Don’t assume that errors with the photograph will be corrected when transferred to canvas! That is not the case! If there are problems with your photo from the start, they will definitely be visible on the canvas and may even be more noticeable once transferred. So, select a quality picture. If you have a picture of a lower quality that you have your heart set on using, you may be able to correct issues by taking it to a professional or by using photo editing software.
Secondly, make sure you check the resolution on your photograph. For a satisfactory picture on a canvas, you will ideally want the photo that you upload to be between 180 DPI and 240 DPI. If you’re not sure of the DPI for your photograph, you can usually see it by checking under properties on your computer or digital camera. Also ensure that your photograph is or can be properly converted into a PNG, JPG, GIF, BMP, or TIF file. Finally, always preview your work carefully before placing an order. Make sure that the borders work well and do not cover any area of the picture you would like visible, and that you are satisfied overall.
