Mourning the Loss of a Loved One

Losing someone important to you is one of life’s harshest realities. While the pain can never be erased, there are things you can do to help yourself get through this tragic and difficult time. The first and most important is to surround yourself with support. Find people you can talk to, perhaps even people who have been through a similar situation themselves. You want people who will listen to you, accept your feelings, and provide comfort, guidance, and a shoulder to cry on.  People who push you to talk about what is happening or what you are feeling are not the best fit; you need people who will let you work through your grief at your own pace.

Make sure, too, that you are being kind to yourself. If you feel any guilt, shame, or depression over the loss of your loved one or over the relationship the two of you had in life, talk to a professional for help and support. Also make sure that you are still taking care of life’s basic necessities—you should be eating healthily, getting enough rest, and reminding yourself that it’s okay to laugh and smile! The better you are to yourself during this tough time, the more quickly you will be able to move on with your life.

Moving on, however, doesn’t have to mean forgetting the person you loved. One great way to honor his or her memory is to create funeral pictures. These pictures, which are displayed on a lovely, long-lasting canvas, can, of course, be showcased at the actual funeral and memorial services. Then, afterwards, the funeral pictures can go to a special spot in your home where you will be able to see them and remember your loved one fondly. Camera to Canvas Art would be honored to help you do this.

How to Create Pictures from Photos

If you’re like most people, then you have a favorite photograph lying around somewhere. You know—it’s that photo you’ve been meaning to do something special with for ages. You tell yourself you’ll frame it and hang it up or that you’ll shrink it down and put it in a locket. While those ideas are nice, your special photograph deserves something truly unique, and it deserves it now! A great idea is to have your photo put onto a custom canvas. Yes, you can create beautiful, artistic pictures from photos, and all you have to do is use a company like Camera to Canvas Art.

Camera to Canvas Art will take care of all of the hard work and technical stuff for you. Your only job is to get your special photo on your computer and then upload it on the site. After that, you simply choose from a wide variety of customization options, such as canvas size, gallery wrappings, frames, and more. Keep in mind that if you don’t see exactly what you want on the site, you can make it happen. The company is more than happy to take custom orders, allowing you to get exactly what you had in mind.

You might think getting a custom canvas would be expensive, something that you’d have to save up for. The truth is, however, that you’ll find the prices to be very affordable, especially when you consider the high quality of the product you’re getting. Your beautiful picture will arrive quickly and ready for display. We suggest hanging it in a place of honor where your memories can live on forever.

Take Your Travel Photos to the Next Level

Have you recently been on an exciting vacation? Maybe you and your family traveled overseas for the first time, or maybe you’re a student who has just completed a study abroad trip in the country of your dreams. No matter what your situation, know that there is no better way to preserve your precious memories than to take them from camera to canvas. Companies like Camera to Canvas Art know how to do just that. Quickly and affordably, the professionals there can create real artwork on canvas from your prized photographs.

After you’ve made the transition from camera to canvas, the possibilities as to what to do with your new canvas are endless. If your canvas is strictly for reliving memories, you can hang it in a place of honor in your home. For students who have studied abroad, the canvas makes a great display piece for presentations and projects. For professionals, one of these canvases makes a great statement in any office or other place of work; it’s an easy way to show you are well-cultured and well-traveled, and often serves as a great conversation starter with new clients or potential employees.

If your trip wasn’t to some wild and exotic place, don’t worry! That photograph of the whole family smiling (and sweating) on a mountain hike or of little Susie’s first foray into the ocean’s waves is every  bit as precious as photos of the African desert or France’s Eiffel Tower. No matter what your vacation memories may look like, they’re important simply because they are your memories, and you deserve to showcase them for years to come.

A Different Kind of Pic to Canvas Company

For many years now—even before the digital age began—there have been companies that take your favorite pic to canvas. Some of these companies even do crazy things like put your favorite photograph on a blanket, a coffee mug, or turn it into a jigsaw puzzle. If you think back, we bet you can remember seeing advertisements for companies like these in the backs of old magazines. Since we’re so familiar with this idea, it is easy to think that all of these companies are the same, but that’s actually not the case. Most of the ones that you’ll find, like those described above, are just trying to turn a profit. They slap your photo onto whatever format and size you’ve requested and then send it your way, not really caring about quality or presentation.

Well, there is at least one company that takes a different approach, and that company is Camera to Canvas Art. The professionals there aren’t just focused on going from pic to canvas as quickly and as cheaply as possible. No, they are interested in creating a beautiful custom canvas—a true work of art—each and every time.

When your photograph is received, it is checked to make sure it is of a high enough quality to work well on a canvas. Then, it is very carefully and painstakingly transferred to the canvas size and style of your choice, with great attention paid to detail every step of the way. Any additional finishing touches you have requested are then added, and your canvas is checked once again to make sure it meets the company’s high standards and will be satisfactory to you.

Making Corporate Art Pop

When it comes to corporate art meant for use in meetings and presentations, nothing makes more of a statement than a canvas image. Think back, for example, to your last corporate meeting. We’re willing to bet it consisted of a lot of long and boring presentations, complete with lots of visuals. However, if you try to recall those visuals, you probably won’t remember much about them, except that they included things like graphs, charts, and PowerPoint presentations. Obviously, this kind of “art” doesn’t go very far in making a bold statement and leaving an impression in the minds of employees. That’s where canvas photos can really come in handy.

Imagine, for example, that you work for a not-for-profit organization. You sit through one meeting in which a supervisor drones on and on about the positive impact you are having in the community through your work. While his or her words might sound good, you just can’t turn the statistics and graphs you see in front of you into real, live people. What about, though, if that supervisor got up and showed you real photographs of people that had been impacted by your work? We bet that would stick in your memory and get you feeling enthused about your job!

This is just one scenario of how corporate art can take things from “blah” to “wow!” The possibilities are truly endless. Whether you’re showcasing the latest advertising campaign, featuring people who have benefitted from your work, or just turning facts and figures into more concrete, interesting examples, Camera to Canvas Art can help you to achieve your goals. Don’t be afraid to be creative and take risks; it will pay off in the end.

How Canvas Sizes Affect Your Image

If you are considering putting your favorite image on canvas with Camera to Canvas Art, you will find that you have a lot of options in terms of canvas sizes. Most people simply choose their canvas size based on the size of the spot where they are planning on hanging their new canvas. However, for a truly spectacular canvas, it is important to consider size and how it will affect your image. If your current image is not very detailed, for example, or has a few other small flaws, note that the bigger you make your canvas, the more noticeable these flaws are likely to become. While the qualified professionals at Camera to Canvas Art will make every effort to fix errors in your photos, some things just can’t be undone. If this is the case with your picture, you will either want to choose a smaller canvas where the flaws are less noticeable or to choose a higher quality photo.

Alternately, making photographs too small can cause problems as well. If you love the tiny details in your photograph and don’t want to lose them once they are on canvas, then opt for a bigger size. In general, just consider your photo and really think about how you want it to look and which canvas sizes would be most conducive to that. Of course, if you have any questions or concerns along the way, you are always encouraged to contact a Camera to Canvas Art professional. Someone will be more than happy to help you find the perfect size canvas to meet your vision. Also, if the size you want isn’t listed on the site, don’t worry—custom sizing is available.

Adding a Whole New Meaning to Photo Art

When most people think of photo art, they think of photographs specifically taken for artistic purposes, of richly detailed canvas graphics, and of snooty displays in art galleries. The truth is, however, that with Camera to Canvas Art, absolutely any photograph can become photo art. We’re talking about your favorite snapshots of the kids or grandkids, that picture of your pets rolling around in the grass—absolutely anything! If it’s dear to you, then it is deserving of becoming art and enduring for years and years to come. So, cast aside those preconceived notions about what makes a photo art; simply pick your favorite and most meaningful shot (or shots) and have then transferred to a vibrant, full color canvas.

You’d be surprised at how different a photograph, even a photograph you’ve seen a million times, can look once it’s on a canvas. Details that you never noticed before will jump out at you and, depending on the customizable options that you choose, you could give your photograph a whole new vibe. In fact, many people are so proud of and satisfied with their canvas that they choose to display them in some creative ways.

Some families have thrown “gallery openings,” in which they invite other family members to come and celebrate the canvas’ unveiling. Others have created a very special spot of honor for their canvas in their home or other location. Remember, this is your special canvas, and you can choose to celebrate and display it any way you see fit. Art isn’t about meeting someone else’s definition—it’s about celebrating what is special and meaningful to you.

What Can You Do with a Picture on a Canvas?

Picture the print that you’ve looked at time and time again. It shouldn’t be too difficult—by now, that image should be emblazoned on your brain. Now, imagine that print blown up, bigger and more detailed than you’ve ever seen it before. The colors pop, and the memory comes rushing back, just like the first time you experienced it. This is what will happen if you put your favorite picture on a canvas with Camera to Canvas Art. This company specializes in taking fond memories and making them even fonder.

While a lot of people like the idea of putting their favorite picture on a canvas, they aren’t really sure what to do with it afterwards. There are lots of options though! These canvases look great hanging in any room of the house all by themselves. Or you can make them the central point of a large collection of traditional photographs. Also, they’re a great replacement for boring artwork and can add a personal touch to your office or other workspace. Some people have even used the pictures in art galleries and displays, providing that they took the photo themselves and have the permission to do so.

The most important thing, however, isn’t what you actually do with your canvas. No, it’s what it means to you and the fact that it allows your memories to live on forever. While photographs fade, bend, and are easily damaged, these canvases can stand up to years of wear and tear. They’ll last forever, and will allow your most precious memories to be shared with future generations.
